日本のストリート界を牽引するパイオニア。10代で単身渡米し、ニューヨークのグラフィティシーンに身を投じた後、トラベラーとして世界を横断、DJとしての顔も持ちながら世界中のアーティストと交流を重ねた後に帰国。2017年、村上隆率いるKaikai Kiki Galleryの制作に参加し、その表現力が国内外で高く評価される。以降、MADSAKIや村上隆との共同制作、世界中の現代美術館での大型展示を通して現代アート界へも進出。2018年には村上隆氏からのオファーにより満を持して初のソロエキシビション”METAVIRUS’～don’t say it,spray it” をKaikai Kiki Galleryにて開催、展示作品は完売する。以後「META」シリーズとして各国で個展を展開。2025年、ジャンルも形式も越境した“ポールシフト後”の新作群を提示し、さらなるフェーズへ突入。「META」シリーズ同様、アートの中に現代を生きるためのコードを書き込み、観るものの固定観念をクラックし続けている。
A pioneer in the Japanese street scene, he moved to the U.S. by himself as a teenager and immersed himself in the New York graffiti scene, then traveled the world as a traveler and DJ, interacting with artists from around the world before returning to Japan. In 2017, he participated in the production of Kaikai Kiki Gallery, led by Takashi Murakami, and his expressive ability was highly acclaimed both in Japan and abroad. Since then, he has entered the contemporary art world through collaborations with MADSAKI and Takashi Murakami, as well as large-scale exhibitions at contemporary art museums around the world, and in 2018 he will hold his first solo exhibition “METAVIRUS'-don't say it,spray it” at the offer of Takashi Murakami. The exhibition was sold out. In 2025, he will enter a new phase, presenting a new body of work “after the pole shift” that transcends genres and formats. Like the “META” series, he continues to crack the stereotypes of viewers by writing codes for living in the present age in his art.
